Incumbent Democratic State Senator John Blake tonight easily fended off a challenge from Republican Frank Scavo.  The Archbald native represents the 22nd Legislative District, which includes all of Lackawanna County and portions of Luzerne and Monroe Counties.

In seeking his third term in the Statehouse, Blake leads with 61% of the vote to Scavo’s 39%.  Parts of Lackawanna County have yet to report.
