06 Oct Teachers Rally at the Scranton School District

Hundreds of teachers rallied outside of the Scranton School District’s administration building Friday, demanding that the district make concessions is ongoing contract negotiations.  Teachers have worked in city public schools without a contract since September 2017.  They have authorized Rosemary Boland, president of the Scranton Federation of Teachers, to call a strike if necessary.
